New purpose-built agents automate research, analysis, and reporting workflows for asset managers and allocators

Mountain View, CA, September 16, 2026 — CENTRL, a leading agentic platform for the investment management industry, today announced the deployment of a new suite of AI-powered agents across its platform, giving clients a way to move from manual, fragmented workflows to using AI in an impactful, safe way. The release introduces purpose-built agents across the full workflow lifecycle for two core functions: Research and Diligence for allocators, and Distribution and Client Communications for asset managers, giving investment and distribution teams a faster, more consistent way to screen opportunities, prepare for meetings, and generate client-ready materials.

“These agents are designed to take the manual, repetitive work out of diligence, fundraising, and governance so our clients can focus on judgment and decision-making,” said Eric Hoerdemann, VP of Business Development and Strategy. “Whether a team is screening for a new manager or prepping for a prospect meeting, these agents give them a head start built on a consistent, repeatable framework.”

“An out-of-the-box library of agents built by our industry experts, both AI innovators and investment management personnel with decades of experience, is one of the three pillars of our agentic offering,” said Tate Haymond, Chief Revenue Officer. “Combined with internal and external data connections configured for each client and wrapped in a framework of governance, security and auditability, CENTRL’s clients can now leverage the power of AI and future-proof their approach. And because we sit on both sides of the allocator-manager relationship, our clients benefit from the synergies of better understanding their counterparty.”

Manager Research and Diligence Agents

CENTRL agents are designed to enhance the entire manager research life cycle from initial screen to monitoring, plus sharing of collateral with internal constituents such as investment committees as well as clients. Examples include:

  • Investability Screen. A filter to confirm if a business fits an investor’s basic rules before starting deeper due diligence.

  • Multi-Manager Screen. A structured analysis to compare managers across performance and risk dimensions.

  • Manager Research Meeting Prep. A comprehensive, structured analysis that summarizes and analyzes the key investment considerations and prioritizes the critical points to discuss in the manager interview.

  • Guideline Checklist. Continuous review of manager relative to investment guidelines.

Sales and Distribution Agents

CENTRL agents are designed to enhance the entire lifecycle of distribution and investor relations from market research and target identification to prospect research and client communications. Examples include:

  • Mandate Identifier. Match a manager’s suite of products to both active searches and likely searches based on intelligence on flow activity.

  • Prospect Meeting Prep Taps internal and external resources to assess a prospect’s preferences and potential biases to optimize communication and, critically, anticipate and prepare for the most difficult questions.

  • Investor Letter Draft. Synthesizes a broad array of inputs to create a first draft investor letter that reflects the manager’s style and voice while striking a tone appropriate to the reported performance.
